“Glen Ballard (born 1953 in Natchez, Mississippi, U.S.) is a veteran songwriter and record producer, best known as the producer of Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill, which went platinum sixteen times in the U.S. and more than 30 million sold world wide. “ - in Wikipedia
I have a profound admiration for Glen Ballard because he is one of the very few out there who are actually making the music we hear and buy (writing and producing). That’s something amazing in this day and age. He can write songs and he can shape them into a finalized product that always sounds gorgeous in the end. In Glen’s hands, the musician is just another musical instrument for him to achieve his vision. And we would all love to be used in that way by an artist like Glen Ballard.
